Hi everyone! Leon here.
Okay, remember when I said I would be donating $1 for each act of kindness shared during #KindnessChallenge? And remember when I said you would be voting on which charity that would be?
Well… now is the time to vote!
There are so many fantastic organizations, but I’ve picked out four of my favorite that I think are the epitome of KINDNESS. And now you get to vote which one you would like me to donate to.
Read more about each organization below, visit their websites, then vote!
Habitat for Humanity — habitat.org
Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. They build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. And, their partner families purchase these houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative financing methods.
Youth Service America — ysa.org
Youth Service America (YSA) improves communities by increasing the number and the diversity of young people, ages 5-25, serving in substantive roles. YSA organizes a network of 800+ partners that activate youth to serve. Through its Global Youth Service Network, YSA achieves global scale and local depth, engaging young people worldwide in the issues that matter most to them and to their communities.
Feeding America — feedingamerica.org
The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. The nationwide network of food banks provides more than 3.3 billion meals to virtually every community in the United States through food pantries and meal programs.
KaBOOM! — kaboom.org
KaBOOM! is an organization dedicated to saving play for America’s kids by creating safe playspaces. They build playgrounds, designed with the help of kids, in communities around the country with the support of individuals and organizations from the public and private sectors.
